What a weekend I had capturing Zoe & Phil’s epic elopement adventure engagement shoot around the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria!

We covered a fair bit of ground while shooting in the beautiful Lakes from climbing the steep lakeside hills to capture the epic landscape, to romancing around Brougham Castle in Penrith & walking along the nearby river Eamont banks to get that perfect picture. We trekked through the fields above Ullwater & came across some beautiful white horses peacefully grazing in the meadows before we made our way to the jaw dropping Ullswater lakeside for a barefoot stroll in the lake.
I have to say you can’t get any better than a natural backdrop like this to capture the romance & adventure to Zoe & Phil’s love story before their adventure continues into next year for their wedding.

This shoot was perfect for me as I thrive on adventure & being in the great outdoors . I was certainly in my element capturing Zoe & Phil’s engagement shoot in such stunning locations around Cumbria. When they decided to elope to the lakes for their engagement shoot I planned the locations down to a tee that I want to visit to get these amazing shots & I wanted to make the most out of the landscape & incorporate it in to their lovestory…❤
